The countdown is on for Green Day’s arrival in Queensland for a Gold Coast exclusive show at Cbus Super Stadium.
Green Day fans will be travelling from across Queensland and Northern New South Wales to attend the Saviours Tour on March 5, which will wrap up the Australian leg of the tour.
The show marks the first global music tour to be brought to the stadium since Ticketmaster was announced as the exclusive ticketing partner for Cbus Super Stadium.
For the first time, music fans visiting Cbus Super Stadium will have access to Ticketmaster’s SafeTix technology, ensuring their tickets are kept safe through anti-counterfeiting features. It works by linking your digital ticket to your Ticketmaster account through an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds.
Fans will easily be able to identify the legitimacy of their ticket through the rotating barcode on their digital ticket, so when they arrive at the gate, they are confident they can enter with ease.
Additionally, NFC technology will allow fans to enter the venues through a simple tap-and-go experience at venue entrances when tickets are added to your phone’s wallet.
Green Day fans will get to experience all that Cbus Super Stadium has to offer, with the venue being unique in its access to public transport, leading to an ease of travel, arrival and entry for all fans.
Not only is Robina train station located just 350 minutes from the stadium, but the cost of public transport is FREE with your Green Day ticket. This includes all Kinetic Bus Services, QLD Rail, and G: Link services from 1:00 pm until the last service. Additionally, there are FREE Park and Ride Shuttles operating from Firth Park (Mudgeeraba), Broadbeach South (G:Link Station) and Burleigh Heads State School (Gold Coast Highway).
Kristian Blundell, Venue General Manager of Cbus Super Stadium, said: “We’re counting down the days until Cbus Super Stadium’s biggest ever event, with one of the world’s biggest bands set to perform, and we’re thrilled to be working so closely with Ticketmaster to make it a success.”
“With the train station just 350m down the road and loads of tourism offerings nearby, this is the perfect venue for a concert, and I have no doubt the success of Green Day will see us collaborating on more great events for the region as we evolve our portfolio of events. Final tickets have just been released with Premium Hospitality options also available for those fans looking to lap up Green Day in style”.
