Ticketmaster is now collaborating with Shazam, aimed at helping artists get tickets to fans across various touch points within the Apple ecosystem. This integration will help hundreds of millions of Apple users discover events and find tickets across platforms including Shazam, Apple Music, Apple Maps, and Spotlight Search.

The integration with Shazam, the popular music identification service, allows fans to find event tickets across song and artist pages, with a direct link back to your Ticketmaster marketplace. Apple Music will allow fans to find tickets via the ‘Set List’ feature, which highlights the music of touring artists and includes concert date listings powered by Ticketmaster for participating artists. In addition to surfacing ticketing links for relevant venue pages, Apple Maps also provides concert date listings, and Spotlight Search, Apple’s device-search browser, will provide organic ‘Siri Suggestion’ results based on existing Ticketmaster event data, found on artist-related searches.

Post Malone Teams Up With Shazam

Post Malone is the first artist to be featured in this collaboration, in support of his F-1 Trillion tour which kicked off on September 8, 2024. His tour setlist is available exclusively on Apple Music. Fans can also download tour-themed Watch faces and wallpapers, view concert photos, and more on Shazam and across the various Apple platforms; and fans can “Save” their favourite artists to be notified of future content and upcoming events directly within the app.

Incremental Reach at Zero Cost

There is no action needed by existing Ticketmaster clients, as the integration is part of the TicketmasterDistributed Commerce platform, offering incremental fan reach at no additional cost. The Distributed Commerce partner network connects these popular apps with existing Ticketmaster technology so your events have a better chance of being searched and viewed by more fans with no additional labor or strain on your teams.

The initial launch will focus on Ticketmaster music events, and while the integration allows fans to easily navigate between the various platforms and Ticketmaster – all ticket purchases will take place within your existing Ticketmaster marketplace from standard open inventory.

Dedicated to Helping Fans Find Your Events

The collaboration between Ticketmaster, Apple and Post Malone continues to highlight Ticketmaster’s dedication to helping artists reach more fans in the apps they’re already using and continues to build on the existing partnerships with Snap and TikTok.
