After much preparation and planning with top tips from our experts, fans swarmed to Ticketmaster to secure their seats for Moulin Rouge! The Musical‘s debut Australian season.
Less than two hours into its first presale, Moulin Rouge! The Musical had sold more tickets in a single presale day than any other show in the Regent Theatre’s history.
Extraordinary demand throughout the remainder of the presale period saw four additional weeks of performances added on sale for the general public, taking Moulin Rouge! The Musical‘s upcoming Australian season to early December 2021.

The theatre adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary 2001 film is the first Australian-produced musical to originate on Broadway and celebrates over 160 years of music from Offenbach to Lady Gaga.
As well as including many of the iconic hits from the movie, its soundtrack spans over 70 songs including new additions from Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Beyonce, and Rihanna.
In October 2020, Moulin Rouge! The Musical was honoured with 14 Tony Award nominations including Best Musical.
