Global rockers Green Day are heading down under in March 2025 and have added the Gold Coast to the tour schedule, the band’s only Queensland performance.
Securing the highly sought after Green Day concert for the city demonstrates Gold Coast’s growing reputation as a live music destination within Australia and a must-stop on the international touring schedule. Ticketmaster worked closely with Experience Gold Coast, Live Nation Entertainment, and Cbus Super Stadium to allow more than 30,000 fans the chance to see Green Day live.
Securing a Queensland-exclusive, for one of the globe’s favourite punk rock bands is a huge coup for the Gold Coast, which has some serious live music pumping on its playlist.
Gavin Taylor, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia said: “These sold-out shows demonstrate the city’s ability to attract top-tier talent and provide unforgettable experiences for music fans. We’re excited to be partnering with Cbus Super Stadium to bring an unforgettable event to life on the Gold Coast. Attracting major acts like Green Day reinforces the city’s reputation as a premier destination for live music.”
Michael Coppel, Live Nation Australia’s Chairman and Green Day promoter: “The Green Day show will undoubtedly be a highlight for local fans, who will get the chance to experience their electrifying energy live at the Queensland-exclusive tour date. The overwhelming success of recent concerts by global superstars like Harry Styles, P!nk, and the upcoming Pearl Jam show reaffirms the Gold Coast’s position as a thriving hub for live entertainment.
General Public tickets for Green Day’s The Saviors Tour date at Gold Coast’s Cbus Super Stadium will go on sale on Friday 20 September, with presale tickets on sale from Monday 16 September.
