Thanks to our expanding partnership with YouTube, from today we have made it easier than ever for Australian and New Zealand fans to discover and get tickets to concerts and live events showcasing the artists they love.

When you go to an artists’ official YouTube channel, such as The Teskey Brothers’ in Australia and Openside in New Zealand, fans will now see concert event listings and ticket purchase opportunities integrated right into their pages.

With over one billion fans visiting YouTube each month to connect with their favourite artists and discover new music, together with YouTube we’ll be connecting more fans to live gigs than ever before.

Every year, Ticketmaster delivers more than 500 million tickets to fans across 30 countries. And since Ticketmaster and YouTubeboth connect music lovers with their favourite artists right around the world, expanding our successful international partnership to fans in Australia makes total sense. It’s a match made in musical heaven.

“With YouTube and Ticketmaster both having massive audiences of music lovers, this integration is a natural fit. That same fit is also what makes the experience so seamless across desktop and mobile,” Maria O’Connor, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand says.

Here’s how it works: while watching an artist’s official music video on YouTube, fans will see upcoming Australian and NZ tour information appearing just below their videos. Fans will also notice that events closest to their location are listed first. From there, they simply click on the *Tickets* button for the show they want to attend, and they will then be directed to Ticketmaster where they can purchase tickets.

We’re always thinking of ways to help fans discover concerts and get tickets to the shows they love. Check out the new integration on YouTube now or visit YouTube’s blog here or Ticketmaster’s news page here for more info.
