The Australian music industry’s longest-running and most competitive music quiz will take place on Thursday 4 April this year, and is back at the iconic Crystal Palace Ballroom at Sydney’s Luna Park.

This year’s quiz is set to be the biggest one yet with a new look and fresh feel, as well as a few surprises.

Annually, the event attracts a who’s-who of the music industry, with past quizzers and presenters including Jenny Morris, Iva Davies, Peter Garrett, Dave Faulkner, Deni Hynes, Jimmy Barnes, Reg Mombassa, Peter O’Doherty, David Campbell, Glen A Baker and Diesel.

Belinda Leonard, CEO of Nordoff Robbins says: “To celebrate 21 glorious years of our legendary quiz, we are giving our much-loved event a bit of a refresh. Not to disappoint our loyal quizzers there will be our stable of familiar rounds, but for the very first time we are partnering with Sounds Familiar Music Quiz – the UK’s biggest and best music quiz craze. Along with that, we’ll have a brand new presenter and host line up, and also a live performance or two.”

Nordoff Robbins Music Quiz veteran and Chair of APRA, Jenny Morris says: “The Nordoff Robbins quiz is always one of my favourite events of the year. The ultimate goal of the event is to find the biggest team of music nerds in the industry, while raising awareness of the amazing work Nordoff Robbins does to transform lives through the healing power of music.”
