Everyone knows to be the best you have to surround yourself with the best. Many of Australian sport’s biggest and most-successful clubs have done just that, partnering with Ticketmaster’s membership and customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Archtics.

Archtics is a solution that assists professional sports clubs to manage and grow their membership bases, which we know is the life blood of any sporting team. Ticketmaster’s Archtics has assisted many clubs – both locally and throughout the world – to be the best.

Currently, Ticketmaster Archtics boasts clients including the AFL premiers, Hawthorn, NRL premiers, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and the AFC Asian Champions, the Western Sydney Wanderers.

The Wanderers are a recent addition to the Archtics stable, but during the short partnership the A-League side has broken its membership record and become the first Australian side to win the AFC Asian Champions League – a feat many experts say is the greatest achievement of any Australian football club.

In just their third season of the A-League, the Western Sydney Wanderers have become a powerhouse on and off the field. In their first two seasons they have made the Grand Final and since partnering with Ticketmaster Archtics they have exceeded their previous membership tally. With more than 18,500 members already in season 2014/15, the Wanderers are fighting the well-established Melbourne Victory to be the best-supported team in the A-League.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs achieved two major milestones in 2014. As well as breaking a 43-year drought to win the NRL premiership, the Bunnies, who also use the Ticketmaster Archtics platform, became the first NRL club to pass 30,000 members.

The Rabbitohs are one of two NRL clubs to use Archtics (the other is Melbourne Storm) and the team is the best-supported in the league.

Back-to-back AFL premiers, Hawthorn, are also Ticketmaster Archtics users. The premiers broke their all-time membership record in 2014 reaching almost 70,000 members; second only to Collingwood. As well as a membership record for Hawthorn, Ticketmaster assisted 11 other clubs to break membership records in 2014. And the total combined membership of the AFL and its 18 Clubs exceeded 800,000 for the first time ever – an enormous feat. Since the AFL and all Clubs began using Archtics, the membership numbers have risen steadily.

The many benefits of Ticketmaster’s Archtics offering have assisted clubs significantly to communicate and engage with their members and supporters and in each of the examples above, the use of Archtics has seen the membership numbers grow.

Internationally, Ticketmaster Archtics is used widely including by the National Football League (32 teams, 31 venues), National Hockey League (26 teams, 26 venues), Major League Baseball (16 teams, 16 venues), National Basketball Association (24 teams, 23 venues) and Major League Soccer (11 teams, 10 venues). The global experience and knowledge greatly assists the local team to provide a world-class membership solution to local sporting teams as well other organisations such as Etihad Stadium and Marriner Group.

Ticketmaster considers the Archtics membership and CRM solution the best in the world, so it is no surprise to us that our partners are at the top of their game both on and off the field.
